The Seniors will play two warm-up games before the commencement of the Kent 4 league schedule on 21st September.

The pre-season schedule will kick off with the already publicised Jamie Blake-Thomas Memorial game on 7th September at the Rec. Jamie was a fantastic teammate through the Youth Section to a number of the players who now represent the club at 1st XV level. This should be a fantastic, festival-like day with a large crowd in attendance so do please make the effort to come along and support (or indeed play as this will be an 'open' game). More details about the day will be released in due course.

Our second match will see the 1st XV travel out East to Canterbury RFC on the 14th September for an early kick-off against their 4th XV.

There will hopefully be a bus organised both ways with some spaces for supporters as well. Following the conclusion of our game, there will be the opportunity to watch the National One Kent Derby between Canterbury and Blackheath.

Hopefully, the early September weather will still be kind and allow for an excellent afternoon of sun, beers and some quality rugby on display. Last season, Blackheath had a very strong start to their season before fading at the mid-point while Canterbury are one of the newly promoted sides to the third tier of the game in England having been victorious in the National Two play-offs at the end of last season.

Lots more details to follow as the summer break progresses but get both of the above dates in your diary as the excitement for the 2019-20 season continues to build.
