With festivals following half term it was crucial to get some quality training in and stretch the legs on a kick surface. Ball handling skills were to the fore and once players got used to the surface there was a lot of kick supportive movement making the most of the space available.
We are always looking for more coaches, in particular for the younger age groups and Raj used Sunday as a taster session for several parents who found themselves linking in passing drills and thoroughly enjoying themselves. The rain is still falling and so the astroturf is provisionally booked for Sunday. The final call will be confirmed on Friday and we will again be asking for your contributions to help cover for the costs – many thanks for the many pounds in to Blair’s bucket last week.
